Harry Truman WWI Letter to Bess Truman November 1, 1918

This letter was written by future U.S. President, Harry Truman, to his wife Bess, during WWI, November 1, 1918, just 10 days before the war ended. In the letter he talks of shelling the Germans for 5 hours. Truman was in the 129th Field Artillery. The letter is from the National Archives,  Collection HST-FBP: Harry S.
