Support Today's Heroes

   When it isn't covered so much on the news, it is easy to forget those who serve in the military, in places like Iraq and Afghanistan. We get busy with our lives, and don't take the time to do even do the smallest of things, like donate a buck or two to one of the many organizations who help today's heroes.

   I will list a few of those organizations here. Please take the time to at least take a look, and let them know they aren't forgotten. If you know of a good one that belongs on this list, please get in touch.


 

Soldiers' Angels is a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) non-profit with hundreds of
thousands of volunteers providing aid and comfort to the
men and women of the United States Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force,
Coast Guard, veterans and their families.

 

  For those who have given so much, and now need a little extra help to get back into the swing of things, there is the Wounded Warrior Project. They let our wounded soldiers, sailors, and marines know they haven't been forgotten after they return home. Their web page is at: www.woundedwarriorproject.org

Operation Gratitude,
sends care packages to those serving overseas. Great way to say thanks to
